Disney+ takes a new leap into the supernatural with the premiere of ‘From Tomorrow’, a Spanish fiction starring Marta Hazas, Álex González, Gabriel Guevara and Denisse Peña that is committed to a mix between mystery, science fiction and the most dramatic sentimental. “There were many genres and it was a challenge to be able to address them and find the tone of the series. It is a thriller with touches of comedy and at the same time familiar”Álex González highlights to eCartelera about the virtues of this new fiction that is now available in streaming.

‘From tomorrow’ follows Gabriela, a mother who, because of a strange mineral, can see the future. His life turns upside down when he visualizes the future death of her daughter, which will make him ally himself with a police inspector, who had a similar experience, to try to change destiny and find out the mysteries behind the mysterious stone.

Marta Hazas is in charge of giving life to this mother and Deniss Peña assumes the role of her daughter, which has left us with a reunion between those who were two of the stars of ‘The Internship’, where they gave life to Professor Amelia and her student Evelyn. “It has been wonderful, because many times you have to work on the background of the character, try to get to know yourself… With Dennis it is as if he were already part of the family,” Hazas highlighted.

“The biggest project I did when I arrived in Madrid was ‘The Boarding School’, and of course, she was a seven-year-old girl and she was the one I worked with when I was a small children’s teacher. It has been nice, because we already had a lot of advanced ground and we have become very, very friends filming that series.although now I have met a woman in her twenties,” the actress clarifies.

Peña also points out that it was “incredible” to meet Hazas again so many years later, especially because As a child she could not establish a friendship as direct as the one they have created now. “In the end, when we were in ‘The Boarding School’, we didn’t have as much relationship as we have been able to do now, we have had a very beautiful friendship, because there was a big age difference. It has been very cool to meet again in this project and get to know each other as adults of another way”.

Gabriel Guevara, now a different “bad boy”

Another of the protagonists of ‘From Tomorrow’ is Gabriel Guevera, who plays the romantic interest of Denisse Peña’s character. As in ‘My fault’, He once again embodies the bad boy profile, but this time from a different perspectivethat of someone with an “avenging spirit” and a lot of “bravery” who, despite the bad image he initially creates for the protagonist, seeks to do justice and has great ideals.

“They have nothing to do with each other. They are quite different,” explains Guevara about the similarity of his character in ‘From Tomorrow’ to his role in the Prime Video teen phenomenon. “Mikel is a kid who is very clear about his ideals, he has a lot of courage and a kind of avenging spirit, so to speak. In comparison, Nick was a capricious and posh child.. But well, he is a very interesting character with the inner world of him and very interesting to do.”

Regarding whether he fears that the industry will pigeonhole him in this type of roles, the actor is not worried. As he exemplifies ‘From Tomorrow’, despite moving between this adolescent profile, always try to look for characters that move in different terrains, so he declares himself delighted with his work and the success he is experiencing. “No, not really. I always try to take different characters. Some will be similar, but they have a fairly wide line of difference. The truth is that I’m delighted. I don’t think it’s going to happen, and if it happens, well, It’s what we’ve had to do. We’ll try to make sure it doesn’t happen,” explains Guevara.

‘From Tomorrow’ is now available on Disney+.
