Two of the British Army’s horses who wreaked havoc on Wednesday in central London, are in “serious condition,” reported a deputy defense minister. James Cartlidge.
“There were five horses that were recovered. “Three of them are fine, two of them unfortunately are in a serious condition that we will monitor,” Cartlidge told the television station. SkyNews.

The incident, in which four people were injured, occurred on Wednesday, April 24, near the Buckingham Palacein a patrol of a group of seven horses from the Household Cavalry, an elite unit that is responsible, among other things, for the protection of the royal family and participates in various ceremonies.

According to an army spokesman, the animals were frightened when they heard a piece of concrete being transported by a crane fall to the asphalt and five of them galloped away, throwing four riders to the ground, three of whom were injured, although their lives They are not in danger.

Cartlidge stated that it is “extremely unlikely” that similar events will occur again, since, according to the deputy minister, the army trains without incident every day in central London with almost 150 horses.
