Colombian Ana María Henao has been missing for more than three months. The last trace of her was on February 3 when she was in Spain living with some of her relatives and since that day nothing has been known about her. Her family and friends are desperate for what could have happened to the woman.
One of the main suspects is American citizen David Knezevich, Henao’s ex-husband and with whom she had separated three months before her disappearance. In fact, she decided to start a new life and that is why Ana María traveled to Europe to start over, but nothing is known about her.
“Ana María Henao’s husband was detained at the Miami International Airport (USA) for his alleged relationship with the disappearance of his wife, within the framework of an investigation carried out by the Police,” The Spanish authorities reported through their social networks.
The FBI, the Colombian National Police and the Belgrade Interior Attaché Office participated in the capture operation. The authorities were aware that Knezevich took the plane in Serbia, made a stopover in Frankfurt and later arrived in Miami, where he was captured once he set foot on North American soil.
David, the main suspect
David Knezevich is the main suspect in the disappearance of the Colombian. Before she moved to Spain, Henao separated from this man with whom she lived after a 13-year relationship. Apparently the situation was not easy at all, since she proposed dividing her assets 50%, but everything seems to indicate that David did not accept this idea.
Finally, the woman decided to settle in Madrid, a city where she had several acquaintances. One of the friends spoke with her on the phone on February 2, when Henao mentioned a trip she had scheduled for the following Monday.
From that moment on, those close to the woman did not have contact with her again. Everything was even more strange after it became clear that on the day of her disappearance, the security cameras of the place where she lived were sprayed with an aerosol. Ana María’s cell phone never appeared.
The family tried to contact their ex-partner, who was in Madrid at the beginning of 2024, but he claimed to have no information about his whereabouts and he was already in the United States.. Now, with the capture of the subject, it is hoped that the whereabouts of Ana María can be clarified.
