There is commotion in Venezuela after the death of a baby who was only three months old in El Tigre, Anzoátegui state, that apparently He died after ingesting a bottle prepared by his mother with medicinal plants.
According to local media, the events occurred on June 8 and were revealed when the baby was admitted to the Dr. Felipe Guevara Rojas hospital, in El Tigre, with obvious signs of intoxication.
Once at the medical center, The minor’s mother informed the doctors that the girl was suffering from diarrhea. and that, despite his efforts and the passing of the days, he did not improve.
It was then that he decided to give the minor a bottle of medicinal infusion. But the baby’s reaction was not what was expected and, on the contrary, she began to show signs of poisoning, making it necessary to go to the hospital for help.
According to Venezuelan media reports, The mother gave the minor an infusion of the “piñón” plant.

After the events, The Corps of Scientific Criminal and Criminal Investigations (Cicpc) announced the opening of an investigation to know the conditions under which the poisoning and subsequent death of the minor occurred.
