The MOP bookstore with its high ceilings and imperfect cement walls are spectacular and provide a brutalist, honest and simple touch, where the shelves, which wrap the lower part of the wall, find an ally to shine with their own light. Or rather with the light provided by the spectacular ceiling lightthe true protagonist of the space, with permission from the books it houses.

The layout of the space is striking, where, taking advantage of the curved shape of the silo where it is located, two circles are established, one with the walls and the other with the tables, which close around a central counter.

For the creation of this space, the work of the Coruña architect Elsa Urquijo, some buildings were recovered old silos and one industrial unit and they were transformed into a cultural space where the city-sea relationship is the main protagonist.
Located in the port area of A Coruña, the MOP center houses also exhibitions of the Foundation that the president of Inditex created in 2022 to hold top-level exhibitions and which is structured around three pillars: photography, fashion and A Coruña.
