King Charles III celebrates the first anniversary of his coronation

The fact that King Charles III used this tie for his reappearance is significant, because it indicates how linked the monarch is to his grandchildren. In fact, over the years he has been seen acting as a grandfather on numerous occasions and even Prince William himself has praised this facet of his father.
However, the departure of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to California has deprived him of this possibility. There is no doubt that, while the Prince of Wales is at odds with his brother, Harry does maintain some contact with his father. In fact, he immediately traveled to London when it became public that he had cancer. However, although King Charles III is up to date with the progress of his grandchildren, he has no direct contact. He can’t go play with them whenever he feels like it, nor does he spend Christmas or holidays with them. Phone calls or conversations through other technological means help to stay in touch, but they do not replace a hug or an afternoon of games, as the head of state does with the children of the princes of Wales.

Maybe not at the ceremony, but why not pay a visit to his grandfather on the most important day of his institutional life?
