La Renga gave her first recital of the “Totalmente Poseídos” tour in the city of La Plata. Before the show, several members of the security personnel would have suffered a poisoning from consuming spoiled food. They are investigating if it was intentional.

Around 2:00 p.m., the 1,200 staff members who are in charge of cutting tickets and maintaining security in the surrounding area received a meal with a ham and cheese sandwich, and another chicken. Within a few hours, about 120 agents began to feel unwell and were assisted by the Red Cross. However, at least 10 of them had to be admitted to Gonnet Hospitalfor a painting vomiting and acute intestinal pain. In turn, one of the agents was hospitalized in the area of intensive therapy due to kidney failure.

After the event, a colleague of those affected told details of what happened. “I worked there last night and It was terrible to see my classmates vomiting and running to the bathroom. Many of them left in ambulances. Luckily I didn’t eat,” he said on his Facebook account.
Another security agent who experienced the incident up close said: “A friend worked there and ate something they gave her. After a while, she and other victims began vomiting and diarrhea. With my children we took my friend to the hospital and It took about 5 or 6 hours to stabilize it.. Now She is at home, very affected, with low white blood cells.”.

From the company Steward SRL, in charge of security, filed a complaint against the food suppliers. An investigation was opened in the UFU No. 10 of Culpable Crimes, led by prosecutor Carlos Vercellone, for “intoxication” allegedly linked to the consumption of spoiled food.
“Some of the staff spoke of a sabotage that the union did to the company, so it is presumed that the addition of a substance was intentional. “There were many people affected,” explained one of the witnesses.
