Bombo Fica, He reflected on his legacy in humor, on the verge of his retirement, which is planned for 2026, when he turns 40 in his career. In this context, he recalled an emotional anecdote for which he decided to change some of his jokes.

Bombo Fica said it was one situation in particular that made him reflect on his jokes and promise to “never again” use direct mockery for humor.
Why did Bombo Fica decide to change his mood?
“I learned it once at a performance at the Viña casino. I told a joke about a gangoso, and he killed with that joke, and when I was leaving, a person who did the cleaning came to congratulate me. And he told me that he admired me a lot and that the only thing he asked of me, with humility, was that he not tell the gangoso joke anymore,” he revealed.
According to the comedian, The person he spoke to had a son who suffered from that nasal problemand because of this he was a victim of bullying and ridicule.
“It broke my heart, I felt ashamed and I vowed never to do it again.. And since that day I have never told jokes that have to do with offending other people,” he said.
Along the same lines, he clarified that “I only want to give affection and love in my work. (…) Mine has to do with social criticism, the macro, but not the specific. Not hurting a person or someone, it is not necessary.”
