In the new chapter of “We can talk“, the actor Pato Torres was one of the guests and revealed details of the delicate state of health he faced after becoming infected with influenza.
A few weeks ago, the 71-year-old interpreter shared a video on social networks in which urged everyone to get vaccinated against viral infection. “I want to address mainly the elderly. Yes, because I was stubborn, I did not get vaccinated.”he explained.
Given this, during his conversation with Julio César Rodríguez spoke of the delicate health moment he faced.
“They were two very screwed weeks. The first week and the first two days I didn’t sleep all night and it was really complicated,” he admitted at the outset. “A person who is already close in age, like mine, says ‘cool, complicated, why did I let myself be carried away by something stupid?’ Like not getting vaccinated, for example,” she added.
“I didn’t want to do it, since I said ‘Why am I going to get vaccinated, if I’m a pretty healthy guy?‘. I go to the gym constantly, I put on vitamin serums, I put testosterone on my cheek. I’m impeque, why, but it seems that the virus didn’t catch that”he explained about his decision.
The complex moment of health of Pato Torres
When asked about the worst moment he experienced after becoming infected, the actor said that “the first two days, the first days I didn’t sleep, because I felt very bad, a nightmare. It also attacked my ear, my middle ear is still blocked. A stream of mucus that was unbearable, it was like I had a key in my nose, it prevented me from breathing.”.
“I had no pain, no back pain or anything like that. But she was more than anything this inability to breathe, the cough and the headache. It was unbearable, it was truly one of the most complicated moments”, he confessed.
Along the same lines, he revealed that “It became more complicated after, once the supposed five days that the flu lasted was over, I still felt strange. and I went to work on the radio (…) and Julito (Stark) told me ‘I notice that you’re not well, why don’t you go to the doctor instead? “It’s just that I find you strange.”
“I got some pustules, as if another plague had hit me. All that amount of things were strange,” she detailed. “I went to the doctor and he told me ‘You have the killer bacteria, so we are going to add 7 more days that you have to stay home and we are going to give you a treatment of antibiotics‘”, he said.
With the medication, the actor began to feel better and was able to return to work normally. “The saddest thing about all this is that I had to stop a lot of things, including theater, the radio and stop watching my little goats.“, lament.
Julio César asked him if he was afraid of living alone because of the issue of illnesses, to which the actor revealed that “I discovered that I have a number of angels (…) people who wrote to me on Instagram. I didn’t lack food, fruits, because people came to my apartment, knocked on the door and left things at the door for me.”.
“This generated this need or impulse to continue fighting this disease.”said Pato Torres, already fully recovered from the flu.
