This month popular music lost one of its local exponents. On June 12, Robinson Gallego Galeano was hired to offer a show in a house in the neighborhood San Eugenio, in Santa Rosa de Cabal, Risaralda. However, the night that promised to be one of music and joy ended in tragedy.

After his presentation, Gallego decided to stay at the house, accepting the invitation of his hosts, who were old friends. What seemed like a calm and friendly meeting It turned into a heated argument between the singer and one of the guests. The situation escalated quickly and, unfortunately, went from words to blows.
Although those present managed to separate the two men and calm things down, the aggressor did not end there. At an unexpected moment, he went to his car, took out a sharp weapon and attacked Gallego, giving him two wounds, one of them in the chest. Gallego’s companions, at first, did not realize the seriousness of the injuries. But, upon noticing the seriousness of the matter, they rushed him to the local hospital, San Vicente de Paul.
Given the severity of his injuries, Gallego was transferred to the San Jorge Hospital in Pereira, where he spent 12 days fighting for his life in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Unfortunately, On June 24, Robinson Gallego Galeano died at the age of 47, leaving an immense void in the hearts of his followers and the musical community.

Gallego was a beloved and respected figure in Colombian popular music. His charisma and talent on stage made him an icon for many. The news of his death has shocked all of his fans, who still cannot believe what happened.
