Events.- Two men of Colombian nationality were arrested while transporting 133 panels of marijuana on a boat, according to military sources.
This procedure was carried out in the Guarinuma sector, Atabapo municipality (San Fernando de Atabapo), Amazonas state, according to a report from River Detachment 623 of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB).
In that section, the military detained a boat (Brijith) where they located 133 panels of marijuana (98 kilos) hidden in the double bottom of an internal compartment.
The occupants of the boat (aluminum slider type) were detained and identified as Benito Bustos Efrén and Castillo Forero Justo Ramón, who came from Colombia and were heading to the community of Yavita, Maroa municipality, Amazonas state.
The two men were handed over to the Public Ministry where they opened a file for illicit drug trafficking. (UN Events).
