After learning of a document that indicates the alleged intention to kidnap deputies in the department of Valle and Cauca, by GAOr Carlos Patiño of the Jacobo Arenas Western Block (BOJA) of the Central General Staff, all types of alerts are generated in the region.

The letter is sent by the military forces, signed by Major General, Erik Rodríguez Aparicio, commander of the joint command N.2 South West to Colonel Giovanni Cristancho Zambrano, Commander of the Valle Department Policewhere information is provided on possible execution plans to kidnap the deputies.

“It is information that we are verifying and verifying with our human intelligence sources, and until now we are working on that information, but so far we do not have verification or a strong threat“said the commander of Valle del Cauca.

The same document states that due to the events that occurred years ago in the department of Valle with the kidnapping of 12 deputies, a reinforcement of security measures is required for the current deputies, in order to protect their lives and even the premises where they are located. out the sessions.

This situation generated concern among the deputies of the Valle department, who asked for greater attention to the possible kidnapping attempts to which the document refers.

“We have called on the authorities as a result of this document that was made known to provide support in the movements of us deputies, and our security schemes are very alert, but we do ask the National Government to take extreme measures, not only with the deputies of the Valley, but with the councilors and mayors. The department of Valle requires urgent presence of the Government to counteract these events,” said Rafael Rodríguez, deputy and president of the assembly’s accidental security commission.
