Yesterday morning, 25 raids were carried out on homes and municipal organizations in our city and three municipal officials were arrested, within the framework of the case that investigates the issuance of authorizations for Firefighters trout. The case had various implications that led to an investigation into the alleged irregular authorization of public shows and the apocryphal issuance of driving licenses.

The operation was carried out by order of the District One Shift Two Instruction Prosecutor, Guillermo González, who investigates illicit associations between police officers, firefighters, municipal inspectors and other professionals dedicated to issuing false authorizations to high-risk commercial establishments. Among those detained in the proceedings is Leandro Rodriguezaccused of illicit association and ideological falsehood, who would have been a member of the criminal group headed by the former deputy chief of Police Gustavo Folli Pedetta. The other two detainees were the inspectors of the Public Entertainment Area raided, who had firearms without enabling documentation in their homes.

The raids also extended to the homes of inspectors and municipal employees in areas of the Municipality of Córdoba as Public shows and Business Enablementwhere important evidence was found for the megacause.

Controls and inspections were also carried out in different businesses located in the Los Gigantes, Los Álamos and General Bustos neighborhoods, where five commercial premises that did not have the corresponding authorizations were closed. The closed businesses corresponded to the purchase/sale of metals, a laundry and a rubber store. Likewise, four motorcycle frames that registered a kidnapping request were seized and were placed at the disposal of Justice.

In total, the investigation has carried out more than 90 raids on residences and businesses in various sectors throughout the province of Córdoba, with the seizure of documentation and telephone devices. Likewise, progress is being made on the investigation of at least 100 people involved. Another point to highlight is that, from the mother cause, some 20 derivations of other types of fraud emerged, associated, for example, with the irregular issuance of driving licenses.

Two CPCs in the crosshairs for driving licenses

Justice investigates the Villa El Libertador Community Participation Center and to Chalet San Felipe Community Participation Center for irregularities in the delivery of driving licenses. For the reason, raids were carried out on the homes of seven municipal employees.

Within the framework of this investigation, yesterday the homes of seven hierarchical municipal employees who provide services in said CPC and in the Transportation and Transit Training Center.

“What is being investigated is the existence of a parallel effort in the delivery of the card without respecting the established legal procedure in exchange for a monetary consideration,” said prosecutor assistant Pablo Bazán, of the District Attorney’s Office One Shift two in the middle The Tenth.

Crimes under investigation could include fraud and falsification of public documents. According to Bazán, fraud is suspected because “in some cases, the parallel management was paid, but the promised card was not delivered.” While in other cases the card was delivered without respecting the established procedure.
