After an extraordinary security council in which the main authorities of the department participated, the decision was made to intensify protection measures for the deputies of the Assembly of Valle del Cauca, in the face of the kidnapping threat detected by military intelligence.

Governor Dilian Francisca Toro highlighted the work of the military organization that allowed an early warning about a plan that would end up affecting one of the main department institutions.
