A team composed of the Eighth Army Division and Alan, a brown-furred canine, who is apparently large in size, was necessary to find 34 explosives during an operation that took place in Sácama, Casanare.

Thanks to Alan and the squad that has trusted in the canine’s instincts and training, today the national territory is a little safer, since this little dog had an excellent performance.

For this reason, the authorities praised the work of this intelligent mascot: “Alan, our 4-legged friend, located 34 explosive devices installed by the GAO-r SE28. Thus he saved the lives of the soldiers and Casanareños“, said the uniformed men through a publication in X.

In which they also show the canine drinking water from one of the canteens that the military uses for this type of operationswhich are usually done in rural, wooded or jungle areas.

In this same move by the authorities, it was possible to dismantle and destroy a clandestine facility dedicated to the manufacture of weapons and explosive material by FARC dissidents.
