At the Armenia transport terminal, the passenger of an interdepartmental bus was captured, who instead of luggage was carrying 14 pounds of marijuana.
The case occurred when the car made a routine stop at the location and at that time agents from the National Police in Quindío took the opportunity to carry out a review of the warehouse, as well as to register and verify the background of the travelers.
This is how when the police inspected the suitcases they found inside one of these 14 strange packages wrapped in vinyl and upon opening them they discovered that it was the aforementioned illicit substance.
In this way, they proceeded to determine who this cargo belonged to and reached a young man, 19 years old, responsible for it.
Given this, they proceeded to the immediate arrest of the young man and together with the hallucinogen they took him away to leave him at the disposal of the competent authority for proper prosecution.
According to what was learned, this person had boarded the bus in the city of Cali and intended to get to Bogotá.
