Road safety and order are primary objectives for the Municipality’s Traffic Secretariat, which works to protect the lives of Salteños and reduce accident rates.
That is why area personnel continue with the controls on an itinerant basis every weekend and also from Monday to Friday.
The agents will continue with the operations, as usual, requesting documentation and for drivers to take breathalyzer tests, if necessary.
“We recommend that residents always carry the corresponding documentation such as ID, RTO insurance license and of course not to consume alcohol if they are going to drive,” said Matías Assennato, Secretary of Traffic and Road Safety, focusing on drivers complying with the rules.
This is done with the purpose of avoiding actions like those this morning, where a driver, on Lerma Street, refused to take the test and hand over the documentation required by the agents. Consequently, the corresponding infraction was charged and his vehicle was taken to the Municipal Canchón.
