The man who died after suffering a serious traffic accident in the Quebraditas neighborhood, located in the Cuatro commune of the capital of Huila, was identified as Julio César Rivera Yunda, 42 years old. The accident occurred during a time when motorcycle use is restricted. The second person involved fled the scene.

Circumstances
According to preliminary information, the victim was traveling on a motorcycle after 3:00 a.m. yesterday, when, under circumstances that remain to be clarified, he collided with another motorcycle.
As a result of the impact, Mr. Rivera Yunda fell violently to the asphalt, remaining immobile due to the injuries he suffered to his body. Some people passing by the place tried to help him by calling an ambulance to take him to the healthcare center.
Did not survive
When the paramedics arrived they found the citizen lying face down on the road, so they quickly took his pulse to check if he had vital signs. This is how they confirmed that he had died.
After the road accident, the Mobility Secretariat personnel arrived to carry out the investigations and found that the second person involved had fled without even providing first aid to Julio César.
The investigations
After the survey, the body was taken by the criminalistics team to the Institute of Legal Medicine. Likewise, progress was made with the collection of camera recordings in order to identify the other motorcyclist.
