On the occasion, the priest Miguel Squicciarini made a religious invocation and a minute of silence was observed in the memory of Humberto César Alemán and the other heroes of Malvinas.

Javier Giubergia told The Tribune of Jujuy that “a courageous recognition was made to the relatives of the great Perique hero César Alemán, as well as all the twelve Jujeños who lost their lives in the sinking of the cruise ship.”

“Corporal Humberto César Alemán was a native of Manantiales, he studied at the Manantiales school and lived in Perico. The truth is that the loss of these war events that we had in our country is regrettable. They are part of our history and we must recognize them “They are our heroes,” he said.

At the end he said that “so many years have passed that I value what it is to feel, to make our history transcend and transmit it to our children in schools where we must continue doing so.”
