Venezuela and Peru will play tomorrow, Sunday, in separate matches, the last card so that one of the two can go to this year’s U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia, on the final date of the South American of the category that is disputed in the Ecuadorian city of Guayaquil.
Venezuela will face Argentina and Peru will face Brazil on the final date of the South American tournament, rivals that have already managed to qualify for the World Cup along with Paraguay, so the final day will define the fourth World Cup ticket in the region.
Colombia, host of the World Cup, has its place guaranteed, and on the final day in Guayaquil they will face Paraguay. The uncertainty will focus on what Venezuela and Peru can do in their final matches of the South American hexagonal, which has left teams such as Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile and Uruguay on the way.
La Vinotinto, which has three points in the hexagonal, is bidding with Peru, which has only achieved a draw, so Venezuela only needs to equalize on the scoreboard to access the World Cup next August and September in Colombian cities.
