GDC waterproofs roofs in 26 buildings in Caricuao |

26 buildings in the Caricuao parish of UD3 and CC2 were subjected to intense remodeling work that included the waterproofing of more than 36 thousand square meters of roofs, which undoubtedly contributes to improving the quality of life in the sector.

The remodeling was carried out by Funvi, the Caracas Housing Foundation, an agency of the Government of the Capital District whose head Nahum Fernández visited the area yesterday to formally deliver the completely completed work to the benefiting communities.

This is another work requested by the 1×10 of the Good Government that President Nicolás Maduro included among the priorities in response to the degree of deterioration of the buildings’ platforms and the need expressed by its inhabitants for a quick repair.

The repairs included the removal of the asphalt layer from each of the roofs and the finishing with elastomeric paint, going through the entire process of placing microfiber mesh, with the improvement and painting of the tanks.

This benefits 4,732 families that make up 15,300 inhabitants, including more than four thousand adults and older adults. Everyone expressed their satisfaction and recognized the work of the Caracas authorities in promptly addressing the community’s complaints and the decisions of the President of the Republic.
