The police officer, who was hit by a drunk driver on the South Access On Friday night, he died minutes before 7 this Saturday. A Godoy Cruz preventer also lost his life in the incident.
The officer, who served in the Highway Police, was identified as Leonardo Exequiel Alarcón Quiroga, 35 years oldwith address in Tunuyán.
While, the preventer Santiago David Velázquez Guevara, 23 years old, died at the scene. He was a native of Godoy Cruz.

The accident took place at the South Access and Rodríguez Peña on Friday, at 11:37 p.m.when Alarcón and Velázquez were organizing the transit after a pile-up.
