“I feel very proud of this type of fight, everyone is seeing that we are two Mexican warriors,” said Canelo after emerging as the big winner of the fight.

Canelo Álvarez dominated the ring in the fight against Jaime Munguía.

“My timing was the key, he is a great fighter, strong and intelligent, but I took my time and I knew I could do it, I feel very proud of what I did. I want to show that I am the best and with this type of fights it was achieved “I showed my talent, now I am the best fighter,” said “Canelo.”

Both boxers came out aggressive and from the first round they exchanged several blows, while a slight advantage was seen for the challenger.

Maidana lost to Barrios

In the run-up to the fight between Canelo Álvarez and Jaime Munguia in Las Vegas, Fabián Maidana from Santa Fe faced Mario Barrios for the interim welterweight title of the World Boxing Council (WBC).

Fabián Maidana left an excellent image in Las Vegas and it should not take long for him to get another chance.

Maidana arrived at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to face Mario Barrios and all boxing fans thought about a quick resolution of the lawsuit in favor of Azteca. But TNT stood up well, started from low to high and grew after the fall in the third round.

He found comfort in the counterpunches and leaned back on the ropes due to the American’s good handling of the ring. In rounds 6, 7 and 8 the best of the fight and Maidana’s performance were seen.

But in the defining laps the place closed more solidly, despite having one eye closed by the blows of TNT. Fabián Maidana left an excellent image in Las Vegas and it should not take long for him to get another chance.
