Granma celebrated Farmer’s Day
The mountain municipality of Bartolome Masó, in its capacity as Vanguard of emulation for May 17, hosted the celebration of the provincial event for Peasant’s Day, and in which Cauto Cristo and Río Cauto were also proclaimed Outstanding.
Granma, Cuba.- The mountain municipality of Bartolome Masó, in its capacity as Vanguard of emulation for May 17, hosted the celebration of the provincial event for Peasant’s Day, and in which Cauto Cristo and Río Cauto were also proclaimed Outstanding.
The celebration included the presentation of medals, distinctions and other recognitions to farmers and ANAP leaders in Granma, as a reward for a lifetime dedicated to cultivating the land.
The Granma anapistas ratified their work objectives for the Second stage of the event that, until July 26, takes place in the province to promote food production and other programs.
The event also commemorated the 65th anniversary of Fidel’s signing of the first Agrarian Reform Law in the General Command of the Rebel Army, in La Plata, Sierra Maestra, municipality of Bartolome Masó.
