In search of agreements regarding the project submitted by the Liaison Table of Retirees of the Río Negro Police to the Ministry of Security and Justice regarding the payment of unfavorable areas, the Province is committed to dialogue and works to generate consensus that will be beneficial for all parties.

The Minister of Security and Justice, Daniel Jara, described as positive the meeting with representatives of the Liaison Table, which took place this Tuesday in Roca.

The meeting is part of the efforts to recognize the claim of retirees, since until now it was held for active personnel and those who stopped performing their duties in the last three years.

Jara heard from representatives from different parts of the province, such as Bariloche, Viedma, Cipolletti and Villa Regina, as well as members of the Mutual Police. The objective was to provide ideas that contribute to the claim of an unfavorable area for retirees being recognized by the provincial Executive.

The project presented by the retirees comes hand in hand with the beginning of the payment of the unfavorable zone for active personnel; measure that began to be implemented, but retirees seek that the benefit be recognized for all years of service, not only for the last three.

The meeting between the Minister of Security and Justice and the Police Retirees Liaison Table represents an important step in the search for a solution that allows recognizing the right of retirees to receive the unfavorable zone.
