The people who passed through the area of Plaza 25 de Mayo during the evening of this Monday, June 10, received a double surprise. In one of the corners of the most emblematic promenade in San Juan they installed a new corporeal sign with the logo of the Capital city. Added to this is that the mayor herself, Susana Laciar, was finalizing the details for this new attraction to begin operating.

Laciar arrived at the site with part of his team of collaborators, the operators checked that the system was working well and the mayor herself was one of the first to take a photo next to this symbol. When people passing by saw her, many stayed to talk to the official who listened to her concerns and requests.

While the president was chatting with the neighbors, little by little, the sign began to attract the attention of people passing by and more than one took a photo alone or with the family. The sign is ideal for taking a good photo, it is more than a meter high, it is located at the intersection of Mendoza and Rivadavia and from that corner you can see Plaza 25 de Mayo in the background, with its traditional fountain with frogs.

After speaking with the neighbors, the mayor explained to HUARPE DIARY that this poster is part of the activities planned for the 462nd anniversary of the Foundation of San Juan. “I am happy that today we can have our corporeals that make up the identity of our City of San Juan. The entire province is represented here, it is San Juan, it is our Plaza 25 de Mayo, it is kilometer zero in front of our Cathedral,” he assured.

Regarding the corporeal structure, the official explained that the logo of the commune is represented there, symbolizing the four districts into which the department is divided, which include Desamparados, Trinidad, Concepción and Centro. “Added to this is the flower that is already a classic of Capital and that refers to the idea of an apartment that blooms together with the neighbors,” said Laciar, who added that the sign also takes care of the environment because the lighting is powered by six solar panels.
