An act of animal cruelty caused outrage and commotion on social networks, after the dissemination of a video that shows a dog forced to run next to a moving car.

The incident was captured on video by a driver who was traveling on Orzali Street and Libertador Avenue, heading south in the vicinity of General San Martín Park. In the images, you can see a dog Doberman breed being forced to run alongside a Volkswagen car, held by a leash.

He video, which quickly went viral on social networks, shows the moment when the car stops on Avenida Libertador. The Doberman, visibly exhausted and panting, tries to get into the vehicle. However, the owner, in an act of insensitivity, prevents the dog from entering and resumes walking, leaving the animal behind.

The motorist who recorded the scene and passers-by expressed their surprise and dismay at the cruel situation.

The images generated a wave of indignation on the internet and among animal rights defenders, who are demanding legal action against the person responsible. Local animal protection organizations condemned the act and are working to identify the owner of the vehicle and the dog.
