As a result of the intense rains and floods, Desafío Levantemos Chile reached various critical areas of the country to gather information about the needs of families affected by the frontal system that affects various regions of the country.
For this reason, the NGO launched the fundraising campaign “Today the emergency is floods”, which seeks to deliver mud and debris removal kits, basic necessities (hygiene and hygiene) and shelter.
The executive director of Desafío Levantemos Chile, Ignacio Serrano, noted that “Many people were left with what they had and lost everything. As in other emergencies, we have been on the ground understanding the needs and what is needed most in the affected areas to continue delivering aid more efficiently. We call on all Chileans to support this cause, and to the families affected by this catastrophe.”.
