Havana, June 26 (ACN) The VII Festival of Social Communication will end today at the Casa del Alba, in this capital.
As part of the program, the panels “The design of visual communication, object and exercise of the profession in context”, “The professional practice of propaganda in Cuba: vocation of service with scientific knowledge” and “The history as science in Fidel Castro: significance and validity.”
Renowned personalities will participate, including Sergio Luis Peña Martínez, dean of the Higher Institute of Design (ISD); Ernesto Fernández Sánchez, teaching vice dean of the ISDI, and Dolores Guerra López, researcher and founder of the Institute of History of Cuba.
The Espacio Awards will also be presented to outstanding professionals in the union for their life’s work.
The VII Festival of Social Communication is dedicated to the future of the Cuban Association of Social Communicators in its 33 years of creation.
Likewise, it exposes the bases of the transition to a qualitatively higher stage in the sector with the approval of the Social Communication Law in the country.
