The department of Atlántico turns 119 years old and the Government together with the Chamber of Commerce of Barranquilla and the Superintendency of Solidarity Economy celebrate this date with a small business fair which will be carried out between June 14 and 15 in the Plaza de la Paz.
“We seek to generate an impact of social and economic value for Atlantic residents through programs and projects for the popular and solidarity economy sector. This is part of a special chapter contemplated in the development plan approved by the Atlantic Assembly that will promote one of the main lines in the department of the national government, which is the strengthening of the popular economy”, said Governor Eduardo Verano.
With this first popular economy meeting, we seek to join forces between the National Government and departmental to strengthen the productive chain that benefits the quality of life of the inhabitants.

As for the Chamber of Commerce, so far this year, 7,134 productive units are supportedand during the previous year 18,014 units were monitored.
In this first edition of Exposolidaria Atlántico, the ventures that come from different municipalities represent the agricultural, artisanal, textile, gastronomy, confectionery, pets, cosmetics, home, jewelry and services sectors in general.
