The Center for Environmental and Technological Interpretation (CIAT) constantly incorporates agreements for the recycling of dry waste. The mayor Alejandra Rodriguez signed a collaboration agreement with the Ministry of Finance of the Province that joined this initiative.

The agreement includes the transportation of stationery such as documentation, administrative files, papers in general and electronic materials to be recycled. Training was also proposed for the institution’s staff in differentiated separation.

“We knew that Tafí Viejo has a model plant so we contacted the Mayor and today we signed an agreement to raise awareness about recycling. We are not only going to eliminate paper waste but all the urban solid waste that we generate. The Municipality of Tafí Viejo will be in charge of coordinating and transporting the items to the treatment center. The agreement will have a duration of five years and will be automatically extended annually thereafter.
