Simón Bolívar Training Ship from Venezuela arrives in Santiago de Cuba

The Simón Bolívar Training Ship from Venezuela arrived this Saturday in Santiago de Cuba on a visit that is part of the XXXIV Training Cruise Abroad in 2024.

«Our AB Training Ship “Simón Bolívar” (BE-11) continues its Caribbean Integration cruise and has arrived today in Santiago de Cuba to carry the message of peace and friendship between our sister nations, united by the just cause of dignity» , he highlighted.

The ship will remain in Cuba between June 15 and 19. In addition, it can be visited by the population on the 16th, 17th and 18th of this month, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (local time).

For his part, the ambassador of the South American nation in Cuba, Orlando Maneiro, highlighted that “Venezuela will arrive safely at port, in victory, in battle, in struggle.”

«The Venezuelan people, with revolutionary consciousness, despite being sailing in turbulent waters as a result of the unilateral coercive measures that the United States and its allies have imposed on us, Venezuela will safely reach port, in victory, in battle, in struggle, under the leadership of our president Nicolás Maduro, commander in chief of the Armed Forces,” he stated.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Venezuela, the Training Ship is scheduled to continue its journey to Santa Marta, in Colombia, and then to Willemstad, Curacao.

Finally, it will arrive on July 13 at the port of La Guaira in Venezuela.
