Last weekend, a fire broke out in Soledad Sánchez’s children’s bedroom. That day the boys had lit a candle so they could finish their homework, because there was a power outage. When night came, and due to carelessness, the candle fell and set fire to the children’s furniture, bed, clothes and supplies. Nothing of the boys between 15 and 10 was left standing. In addition to the electrical installation of the room that was also melted by the flames.

Throughout this week, the CBU and Alias were published from the El Tribuno editorial office, so that all those who can donate, regardless of the amount. And the Salteños were responding. Although the situation is heavy and complicated for everyone, in each house there is always something that is needed in another. And so it was that the beds for the boys arrived and also the mattresses.

The workers also made their contribution and sent backpacks, warm clothing, bedding, and some other details so that in addition to covering the needs, it brought a smile to the little ones.

Once again the solidarity of the people of Salta was demonstrated, with this woman who needs to stand up again and move forward. What remains of the path to recovering the well-being provided to her children may be a little more expensive but not impossible to achieve.

The boys’ room is the step that must be taken, because now the children sleep in the dining room of the house, since the smoke destroyed the walls and burned the electrical installation that was in that room.

From Monday to Friday, Sole continues working and on weekends he is in charge of seeing what is needed in his house. For the moment, she is still waiting for the State institutions – both provincial and municipal – to come to her house in the 38-home neighborhood, in the southeastern area of the city.

For all those who want to make their donation, they can do so at the 38-home neighborhood, Mza A, house 24, in front of the Velarde school. Or contact +5493874153620.
