Yesterday we revealed exclusively to you the measure taken by the National Planning Department (DNP) to seize the properties and buildings of the Sáchica mayor’s office, including the same building in which the mayor’s office operates, to demand the return of 1.2 billion pesos of a project to which he disbursed those monies in 2008, but which was never settled, due to the irregularities it presented.

Well, it turns out that the person who caused such a problem for the municipality because he did not advance the reforestation project of the Sáchica river basin was the then mayor Héctor Antonio Amado (right), who governed the municipality of Sáchica between 2008 and 2011 and who In turn, he is the father of the current president of that municipality Héctor David Amado Sierra (left).

Well now Mayor Héctor David Amado is going to have to find a way to pay the 1.2 billion pesos, make a payment agreement and wait because the embargo will only be lifted until the debt is paid, and as ordered by law, a recovery action must be brought forward. repetition, in this case against former mayor Héctor Antonio Amado, his father.

The young mayor will have to solve the mess urgently, but then he will declare himself impeded in the conciliation committee, because the law clearly says that a person is not obliged to sue or testify against his family members. The Attorney General’s Office will end up accepting the impediment, and the governor must appoint an ad hoc mayor to carry out the repetition action against the father of the current mayor of that municipality.

At the moment the urgent thing is to pay to lift the embargo, because a social housing project that is being carried out on a lot in the municipality is already affected, and even the project for the construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, which Coincidentally, Governor Carlos Amaya had just announced this week, with an investment of 7,000 million pesos.
