The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during his visit to the state of Amazonas, announced that this entity will have a powerful Scientific Research Center for Traditional and Ancestral Medicine and convert Ancestral Medicine into Science Medicine.
«I am convinced, we have to install and open in Amazonas a powerful Scientific Research Center for Traditional and Ancestral Medicine and convert Ancestral Medicine into Science Medicine, because in Amazonas there are the secrets to the cure of all diseases and we have seen how from Japan and Europe they come and take the secrets of the Amazon,” he said.
The head of state alleged that “having here in Amazonas the place of the most powerful and beautiful biodiversity in the world, it is not fair that we do not have a Center for Scientific Research and the production of applied medicines.”
“We have to open it and we have to found it and I want that in the second half of this year we make the idea concrete and here in Puerto Ayacucho, we install a powerful Scientific Research Center for the care of diseases,” he insisted.
The president pointed out that “by installing a powerful Scientific Research Center for diseases in the State of Amazonas, in addition to helping the population and their patients verify if they are healthy or suffering from a disease, we are once again overcoming the sanctions,
