The road closure continues on the Sisga transversal, between the Boyacá municipalities of Santa María and San Luis de Gaceno, due to the loss of the bank.

“Due to the heavy rains that occurred in the afternoon hours of Saturday, June 15, there is a total loss of the bench at km 56+052,” reported from the Sisga Transversal Concession.

They added that there is no pedestrian or motorcyclist crossing, so they ask users of the corridor to refrain from traveling through the affected area in order to avoid accidents.

On Friday, the Sisga Transversal Concession carried out a tour together with the National Infrastructure Agency (ANI), the Ministry of Transportation, delegates from the Boyacá Government, personnel from the departmental Risk Management Unit, representatives of mayors’ offices, councils municipal and legal entities, Corpochivor, the Joyco unterventoría, citizen oversight offices and the community, among others.

“We carried out the tour in order to verify the extent of the effects generated in the road corridor due to the winter wave, where various concerns raised by the community from the emergency were heard and addressed,” they said in the Concession.

“We give special thanks to the entities and the community that answered the call. Together we will overcome this challenge,” they stressed from the Sisga Transversal Concession.
