The ‘Culebrero Yulián’, who used deception to steal cell phones and jewelry in Bucaramanga, fell

As alias ‘Culebrero Yulián’, 19 years old, a subject who the Police captured and who is accused of stealing valuable items through deception is known.

The arrest took place this holiday Monday, June 3, at the Bucaramanga Transportation Terminal, moments before the alleged thief bought a ticket to travel to his city of origin.

“This subject’s modus operandi consisted of approaching the victims to entangle them, telling them that they were part of a criminal group and that they should verify the legality of their valuables. After having the objects that he had taken from them, he fled the scene,” the Police said.

One of these thefts had occurred in the Cabecera sector last Sunday, one day before the capture of the 19-year-old young man.

From these people ‘Culebrero Yulián’ took two iPhone 15 pro max brand cell phones, a gold chain and a smart watch. All of these items were recovered during the arrest.

“According to information from the community, the captured person was dedicated to committing criminal activities by deceiving citizens. A call is made to those who recognize it to report it to the Prosecutor’s Office or the Sijin,” the institution added.

The accused was placed at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office to answer for the crime of reception. It is expected that he will then be charged with the crime of theft.
