An important project is being processed in the Neiva Council in accordance with which it seeks to make effective the right of the inhabitants to prioritize the actions and investments that are made in their communities in the future.
This is the Draft Agreement 0014 of 2024, “Through which provisions are issued for the strengthening of citizen participation, articulating the effective functioning of the local planning process and the regulation of the implementation and execution of participatory budgets in the municipality. of Neiva – Huila” which was presented on June 7, 2024.
The purpose of the project is due to the certain possibility that community organizations determine the destination of part of the investment of the municipality of Neiva, in territorial areas under their jurisdiction, in a harmonious, organized and non-arbitrary and disjointed manner, supported by the guidelines that determine effective planning based on the approval of true local territorial plans by communes and townships consolidated in solid diagnoses, strategic components and investment plans with sufficient deliberation and analysis of the communal base and the support of the authorities and planning bodies established.
The speaker of the project will be Councilor Luís Humberto Perdomo, who was appointed by the president of the Neiva Council Corporation, Councilor Juan Diego Amaya within the framework of the ordinary session, held on June 13, 2024.
