The measure will be taken as a preventive measure in certain sectors.
The Aysén Public Works Seremi reported that starting June 22, to maintain the best safety conditions for people, the preventive night closure of Route 7 will be carried out in sectors that are historically critical in the region.
From Saturday, June 22, until Sunday, September 15, 2024, there will be a night closure from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. the next day.
The chosen sectors are those of Portezuelo Queulat, the section that goes between Puyuhuapi and the Cisnes crossing; the Portezuelo Cofré sector in the Villa Castillo section and the Bahía Murta crossing and the Vagabundo sector between the Caleta Tortel and Puerto Yungay crossing section.
