The EPS Cajacopi will request its partial voluntary withdrawal from the National Health Superintendency in the 91 municipalities in the country in which it has a presence.

According to the health promotion entity, “this decision is based on the evaluation of capabilities and resources, and seeks to focus our operation in the areas where we have a greater response capacity and guarantee more attention

effective and timely.”

Cajacopi EPS has 7,365 members, “which represents the 0.5 percent of our total insured population and with this measure we seek to optimize the

processes and attention to this population”.

In a statement, Cajacopi affirms that with this decision it will be achieved “reorganize” and in this way offer “the best possible care.”

This decision, which is added to those of Compensar, Sura and Salud Bolívar EPS, must be studied by Supersalud and it will be this entity that will be in charge of accepting or rejecting it.

“In case of receiving a positive response from the National Health Superintendency, the affiliates residing in the municipalities detailed below will be transferred to other EPS that have a presence in those territories“says the Cajacopi statement.

“This transfer will be done in an organized manner with the aim of minimizing any inconvenience for our members,” adds the EPS.

While Supersalud studies the request, Cajacopi assures that it will continue to provide its services in the territories where it has a presence.

The EPS Cajacopi offers its services in Atlántico, Bolívar, Boyacá, Cesar, Córdoba, Magdalena, Meta, Sucre and Vichada.
