With the participation of 80 tennis players from all over the world, the Racquet Complex became the epicenter of the best tennis of great leaders of the White Sport.
The organizing committee highlighted the state and conditions of the Racquet Complex in the capital of Tolima.
“The truth is we are very, very happy, first of all, for the response of the fields. Despite the rain, the fields have responded quite, quite well. They have very good drainage. The players are quite surprised. This is very good because it allows the players to know and understand that the courts are going to be fast and they can play at any time, at any time,” said Jhan Fontalvo, tournament director.
In addition, Fontalvo invited the community to attend the games throughout the week.
“The response from the public has been quite good. We are ready to start the main draw tomorrow, that is why we invite, precisely, all Ibaguereños to come and see the first day of competition of the main draw, here at the Sports Park,” he added.
Finally, it is worth noting that there will also be doubles competition with 16 couples who will compete for the title on clay.
