A new earthquake shook the man again northern neuquinonear the town of Sauces Corner. The movement was recorded and reported this Monday by the National Institute for Seismic Prevention (Inpres).
The event occurred at 8:28 and had a magnitude 2.8 degrees. It was a superficial movement, given that its depth was located just eight kilometers from the surface.
The epicenter was located at 84 km east of Chos Malal; 108 km south of the Payún Matrú volcano; and 128 km southeast of Domuyo volcano -37.394 (lat) -69.324 (long).
According to Inpres, until the Neuquén seismological network is complete, the location error in the area could vary from 15 to 20 kilometers of accuracy.
