For the alleged crimes of bribery, ideological falsification in a public document, embezzlement by appropriation and concussion (when a public servant abuses the power that his position gives him and demands money that does not belong to him), the Investigative Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice opened a formal investigation against the former senator of the Historical Pact César Augusto Pachón Achury.
The former congressman is accused of having appointed a person in his Legislative Work Unit (UTL) when he was a representative to the Chamber for the MAIS, to pay a debt. The named person would have received salaries for a year without fulfilling his work obligations.
Pachón was elected senator by the Historical Pact for the period 2022-2026, but lost his seat due to double militancy. Now, without a credential, he is no longer taken into account in his party and he only remains current on social networks, where he makes comments like this: “My solidarity with @laurisarabia, a woman who has shown that, despite the attacks, In some cases ‘friendly fire’ as has also happened to me, it does a great job for the Government, becoming an obstacle for those who have personal interests and do not want change.”
