Day in Defense of cultural activity

Next Saturday at 10 in the morning at the Center for Culture and Community Work of Villa Dolores (Valle Viejo), 995 Joaquín de Acuña Street, a meeting will be held to propose “Projects in Defense of cultural activity.” The call is intended for people who are linked to “theater, literature, dance, visual arts, music, cultural spaces, clubs, publishing houses, cinema, television, graphic and radio media.”

“From the community of artists, artisans and intellectuals who promote cultural activities in Catamarca, we invite a meeting to discuss projects in defense of local cultural activity. The community has been activating claims in the face of the urgency due to the measures of the DNU, the Law Bases and the dismantling of public organizations that support cultural activities. Given the prevailing situation, we will hold a meeting to contribute ideas that help defend those who work and create in the field of art and culture in Catamarca. The idea is to write some. proposals and send them to the cultural areas of the province, to the culture commissions in the legislatures and to the municipalities,” says the call.
