The mayor bid farewell to the Ibaguera women who will go to exchange experiences on political participation and strengthen their skills.

For the third consecutive year, 35 leaders from the Musical City will attend the National Congress of Women Councilors, which will take place in Riohacha. This event will allow them to exchange experiences about their political participation and strengthen their skills.

With the support of the Mayor’s Office and under the direction of Mayor Johana Aranda, these 35 women received all the necessary guarantees for their trip, such as transportation, food, insurance, lodging and registration.

“We hope that they will be trained, trained and enrich their knowledge for the benefit of all the councilors of our city,” said Jorge Iván Sabogal, director of Citizen Participation.

For her part, Viviana Álvarez Castro, councilor of Corregimiento 11 San Juan de la China, expressed her gratitude and expectations with this trip: “It is the first time I have traveled because I am a new councilor. I thank the Mayor’s Office and everyone who has made this possible. trip. Our expectations are to learn, know and contribute to the formulation of projects that benefit all women in Colombia.”
