Movie theaters in Colombia have received a visit from a gloomy character called “The Jester,” the title of Colin Krawchuk’s new film that mixes terror and suspense. This Jester is a masked figure, with a top hat and a Halloween costume, a dark monster seeking revenge.
In the words of Colin Krawchuk “The Jester stands out from other horror antagonists because he loves what he does. He loves to have an audience and loves to stand out from others. It is something different from what we have known. They hide in the shadows, they hide in the closet and things like that. The Jester loves having an audience and dancing in the street.”
Starring Michael Sheffield, Leila Symington and Delaney White, the story tells that a malevolent being known as “The Jester” terrorizes the inhabitants of a small town on Halloween night, including two sisters who, being estranged, must come together to Find a way to defeat this evil entity.
“El Bufón” arrived in movie theaters in Colombia on April 25 thanks to the distribution of Cineplex.
