The first day of CCXP Mexico has brought us great surprises and completely unexpected moments. And without a doubt, one of them occurred in Giancarlo Esposito’s panel in the first edition of the convention in our country, as he apparently revealed that he will be Professor Charles Xavier within the MCU... just as they read it.

Giancarlo Esposito hinted at CCXP Mexico that he will be the new Charles Xavier
It turns out that during the first day of the CCXP Mexico at the Citibanamex Center, Giancarlo Esposito appeared on the Thunder Stage to talk about his career and even his upcoming projects. And it was right in front of his Mexican fans that he dropped a real bombshell, by hinting that he could be the new Charles Xavier of the MCU.
During the talk they mentioned that for a long time now, some X-Men fans have openly said that They want the actor who gave life to Gus Fringe in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul becomes the leader of this mythical Marvel group. However, Giancarlo’s response to this left us speechless.
“I’ve been a fan of the possibility of me being Professor Xavier and all the fans, like all of you, who really want to see me in a Marvel movie, that will come true.”, declared Giancarlo Esposito during his conversation on the Thunder Stage of the CCXP Mexicoafter reminding the entire public that whatever they want in this life can come true.
About the idea of being Charles Xavier, Giancarlo said the following: “I can’t promise you it’ll be Professor X because this is what I think: I think there’s something important about being original. We’ve seen different versions of Professor X. Wouldn’t you like to see me play a character in a Marvel movie that is original, new and fresh?
To close the topic, Giancarlo Esposito declared that because he was at the convention, he decided to speak about it. And although it is not yet a fact, it closed with a forceful “Mark my words, this will happen sooner than you think. It really excites me.
