Google had previously cut the free limit of its storage plans to 15GB per personal account, shared between Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos. Now, this change will also apply to WhatsApp backups on Android.
Although WhatsApp backups will no longer have unlimited storage on Google Drive, Users will be able to continue making backup copies using the 15GB of free storage offered by each service account.
