Iga Swiateknumber 1 in the WTA, remains unstoppable at Roland Garros and won her fourth title, third in a row, after beating the Italian Jasmine Paolini (15th) in the final by 6-2 and 6-1.

The 23-year-old had arrived on the Parisian clay court with an impressive performance that allowed her to raise the Madrid and Rome titles to reach the second Grand Slam of the season in tune.

In this way, she became the second player in history to win the trophy in Madrid, Rome and Roland Garros in the same year.

Who was the first to achieve it? If it’s about winning championships, Serena Williams is the undisputed queen. In 2013, the American had been the first to achieve what the Warsaw native ended up repeating eleven years later.

On Spanish soil, the former number 1 knew how to win the crown after beating the Russian in the final Maria Sharapova by 6-1 and 6-4. Later, he was going to achieve the same in Rome and Roland Garros against Victoria Azarenka (6-1 and 6-3) and Maria Sharapova (6-4 and 6-4), respectively.
