NASA Space Apps Challenge Lima 2024 will have new headquarters in Junín and Cusco

The NASA Space Apps Challenge Lima 2024the local hackathon event, will have two new in-person venues in Huancayo and Cusco for the competitions to take place on October 5 and 6.

José Ostolaza, representative of the NASA Space Apps Challenge Lima 2024specified that the event will have the Sun as its theme and indicated that the participants will have to respond to the challenges posed by NASA.

“The entire community of innovators and entrepreneurs in Peru is invited to participate and present their solutions. This year, for the first time with the Continental University, we are implementing two in-person locations in Huancayo and Cusco, but there are also in-person and virtual locations in all of Peru, everyone can participate with their proposals,” he said.

“The portal of NASA Space Apps Challenge It will be open, you can search for the headquarters, there you will find the challenges, you can form your teams, you can enter the competition and actually present your solutions. This is very important for the community, because it helps all this Peruvian talent that is there to gain visibility and be known as the capacity, the creativity that we have to present solutions to very complex problems,” he added.

José Ostolaza stated that the NASA Space Apps Challenge Lima 2024 It is a multidisciplinary competition where around 24 initial, intermediate and advanced challenges will have to be addressed. The free inclusive event is for professionals and college students.

“The winners from Peru go through a global stage, in that global stage the selected projects have a lot of visibility and receive many invitations from incubators, accelerators or companies to be able to develop and advance their projects and make those solutions they propose become a reality and have a tangible impact,” he said.
